We broadcast at 1000 watts at a frequency of 990 Hz AM 24 hours a day. We have a potential audience of over 290,000 people in our broadcast area.

We are the official Emergency Broadcast System facility for Cherokee County. We are fully generator-supported so we will be here when you need us the most: in times of emergency and severe weather.

Our NEXRAD radar system is a state-of the-art weather forecasting tool. Through a direct feed from the National Weather Service office in Birmingham, we are able to bring you the most accurate, up-to-the-minute weather information possible.
