03-13-2010 - PERRY FUNERAL CHAPEL - MRS. CLARA MAE MARTIN
MRS. CLARA MAE MARTIN, age 87 of Broomtown Community passed away Wednesday
March 10 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Saturday at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Andy
Kellett, Mark Russell, and Johnny Martin officiating.
Burial will follow in Mt. Bethel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 12 noon until time of service.
Survivors include sons John L. (Diane) Martin Jr. of Jamestown, Joseph Martin of Broomtown
and James (Gale) Martin of Ocean Springs, MS; one daughter, Jaye Lene (Archey) Beason of
Broomtown; 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren along w/
several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Joe Burton, Billy Wayne Pearsey, Steve Warden, DeWayne Teague & Buck
Brown and Jeffery Pearsey.
Mrs. Martin was a native of Montgomery AL and was the daughter of the late James Monroe &
Ethel Digsby Russell. She was a housewife. She was preceded in death by her husband, John L.
Martin, Sr. and a daughter, Ethel Don Mealer.
