Mr. Wendell Ray Chandler, age 66 of Centre, passed away Monday, March 8th at his residence.
Funeral services will be 2:PM Wednesday at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Kerr officiating; burial will follow in Noah Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 9:PM Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Porter Sanford, Darren Walker, Kevin Walker, Derrick Curry, Matt Walker, Chris Chandler, Britt Chandler and Kip Chandler.
Honorary Pallbearers include Gene Walker, Bob Pridgen, Buddy Magness, Sammy Rochester, Danny Rochester, Dale Williams and Glen Clanton.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Rochester Chandler; son, Randy (Becky) Chandler of Centre; mother, Edna May Chandler of Centre; sister, Wanda (Bob) Pridgen of Centre; Grandchildren, Christopher Kenzie Chandler and Kaylee Joe Chandler; several Nieces & Nephews.
Mr. Chandler was a native of Cherokee County, a farmer & textile worker and was a member of Noah Baptist Church.
