03-10-2010 - THOMPSON FUNERAL HOME - MRS. JUDY ANN BENNETT

Funeral services for Mrs. Judy Ann Bennett, age 54 of Piedmont will be Wednesday at 2:00pm at Thompson Funeral Home & Crematory.

Burial will follow at Thomas Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bennett died Saturday in Cherokee County.

Survivors include children Gary `Bubba` Hardin (Jennie) of Piedmont & Susan Johnson Livers of Kentucky; five step-children, B. J., Misty, Angel, Amber and Robbie Bennett; six grandchildren - Justin Melloway, Christopher Hardin, Brittney Hardin, Brittney Livers, Samantha Livers, and Eric Livers; four great grandchildren; one Godchild, Christian Lackey; brothers, John Williams (Jackie), Gene Williams, Jerry Williams (Judy) and Jimmy Williams; six sisters, Sybil Brady, Margaret Faye White (Gene), Tawanna Donaldson (Bill), Kaye Rowland (Steve), Johnnie Roland (Robert), and Charlsie Bennett; and several nieces and nephews.

The Pallbearers will include Jamie Reaves, Dwayne Bradley, Anthony Roland, Mike Lackey, Shea Rowland and Justin Rowland.

Mrs. Bennett was a resident of Piedmont most of her life. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Robert Bennett Sr.; a daughter, Rhonda Gwinn Hardin; parents, Ed and Helen Bennett; sisters, Yvonne Bennett Hall, Violet Snables and Bernice Bennett; and two brothers, Andy Wayne Williams and Dean Williams.
