05-15-2008 - PERRY FUNERAL HOME - MRS. CALLIE NELL STANCELL DAY

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7 P.M. at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Melvyn Salter and Dr. Jim Wright officiating. Interment will be Friday at 10 A.M. at Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 P.M. Thursday.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the family will accept flowers.

Survivors include her girls, Nicki (Jeff) Hale of Blue Pond and Brandi (Joe) King of Birmingham; brother, Donald (Wanda) Day of Blue Pond; sisters, Margie Womack and Ruth (Kenneth) Williams of Centre; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Day was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Girdine and Mary Nell Brown Stancell, was retired from Centre First Baptist Church and was a member of the Union United Methodist Church.
