05-17-2008 - LITTLE RIVER CANYON NATIONAL PRESERVE - GUIDED HISTORY WALK ON SATURDAY, MAY 17th
The Little River Canyon National Preserve will present a guided history walk at Little River Falls Parking Lot on Highway 35 on Saturday (May 17th).
The hike will begin at 10:00am, and will focus on life around the Little River Falls and Edna Hill Community, prior to the establishment of the Little River Canyon National Preserve.
People are encouraged to bring water, good hiking shoes, field guidebooks, and a snack.
Families are encouraged to take part in the hike and Junior Ranger materials will be given to all young participants.
