Mr. Raymond Lorenzo Bell, age 95 of Lyerly Georgia, passed away Thursday May 8, 2008 at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA.
Graveside services will be held at 2 pm Sunday at the Johnson Cemetery with Rev. Billy Wright officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday May 10th from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.
Survivors include a son, William Austel (Elsie) Bell of Lyerly, 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Lou Bell and Sarah Jane Stover Bell, 2 brothers, and 4 sisters.
Mr. Bell was a native of Chattooga GA. He was employed as a spinner in the textile industry and was of the Church of God Faith and a minister for over 70 years.
Pallbearers include Dennis Ledford, Leon Stephenson, & Billy Stephenson and are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:45 on Sunday.
