Most Jacksonville State University students have some form of health insurance, that according a new study commissioned by the JSU trustees as they consider changes to the university`s health care system.
Before the study trustees say they thought only about half the student population was uninsured however, that`s not what the study found.
As many as two thirds of the 9,500 students in the JSU system do have health insurance almost half of the student population is covered by Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
