INVESTIGATION INTO RAPE ALLEGATION CONTINUES

Calhoun County deputies are interviewing a suspect in an alleged rape which reportedly occurred last week near Choccoloccoo.
Sheriff Larry Amerson says no arrests have been made however the incident does remain under investigation and a case is pending.
The incident was reported Friday morning, by a 54 year old Anniston resident; the suspect is said to be a friend of the victim`s step grandson, who was visiting the night of the alleged rape.
