Gadsden City Councilman Robert Avery has been selected as vice-chair of a major committee of the National League of Cities. NLC President Ted Ellis, recently announced that appointment to the league`s Finance Administration & Intergovernmental Relations Steering Committee which plays a key role in shaping the organization`s policy positions on behalf of America`s cities.
