PIEDMONT POLICE TO TAKE PART IN `TAKE BACK INITIAT

On September 25, the Piedmont Police Department will be taking part in the National Take Back Initiative sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Administration.
The event is designed to allow people to turn in their unwanted, un-used, or expired medications. Donors will be allowed to dispose of controlled substances, non-controlled substances , or over the counter medication.
Donors will not be asked for identification and can remain anonymous. The focus of this event is to remove potentially dangerous con-trolled substances from our nations medicine cabinets and to bring anational focus to the issue of pharmaceutical controlled substance
