TWO ATTALLA MEN CHARGED IN THEFT CASES

Two men from Attalla, have been taken into custody by authorities in Etowah County and
are currently facing chrages on several theft-related offenses.
According to Sheriff Todd Entrekin - J.D. Trammell III and Timothy Pearce, both age 20,
were placed under arrest and each charged with one count 2nd Degree Theft of Property
and one count of 1st Degree Theft of Property, both felonies.
Investigator Josh Morgan said the pair are charged with thefts which occurred on Burgess
Road in Attalla last December (2009) and this February (2010)
Trammell and Pearce allegedly stole a variety of items such as copper wire and pipes, car
batteries and hand tools, to sell for scrap metal.
Both individuals are being held on $7,500 bond.
