ONE KILLED ONE INJURED IN CO RD 71 ACCIDENT

According to Alabama State Troopers one person was killed and another person injured following a two vehicle accident on County Road 71 in front of the Beans and Greens Restaurant on Saturday afternoon.
The mishap occurred just after 4:00 four miles east of Hokes Bluff and involved a 1999 Honda Accord driven by 51 year old Stoney Fuqua of Gadsden Fuqua was transported to Gadsden Regional for treatment of his injury.
The driver of the 2nd vehicle 61 year old Piedmont resident Virginia Bartlett driving a 1998 Honda Accord was fatally injured in the accident.
The accident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
