ATTALLA WOMAN KILLED IN ACCIDENT

An Attalla woman was killed in a one vehicle accident occurring 2 miles north of Attalla on Highway 431.
Alabama State Troopers say that the accident occurred at 11:25 Sunday morning the victim has been identified as 70 year old Altoona resident Mary Carol Spearman Faust driving a 1996 Toyota.
Faust was airlifted to UAB Medical Center where she later died.
The Iva-lee and Attalla Fire Departments, Etowah County Sheriffs Department, A-Med Ambulance, and Alabama State Troopers responded to that scene.
