LADY BULLDOGS WIN, LADY WARRIORS WIN IN AREA PLAY

The Gaston Lady Bulldogs defeated the Spring Garden Lady Panthers 42-33 to capture the 1A Area 12 Championship. Spring Garden will travel to Athens Bible next Thursday.
The Sand Rock Lady Wildcats will also have to travel next Thursday to North Sand Mountain as they lost to Geraldine 44-34 in the 2A Area 12 Championship.
Glencoe was crowned the 3A Area 10 Champions by virtue of a 60-51 win over Piedmont. Glencoe will host Leeds and Piedmont will journey to Altamont on Thursday.
The Cherokee County Lady Warriors are the 4A Area 12 Champions as they knocked off Alexandria 56-49 and secured one last home game next Thursday.
