TWO ARRESTED ON BURGLARY CHARGES

Rome Police arrested two men on Monday afternoon, after receiving a call that the two were in the midst of a burglary on South Broad Street.
According to Rome Police Sergeant Wendy Stewart, she and another officer were in the area when the call came in. Stewart, along with several other officers and two Sheriffs Deputies responded to the scene, where the two suspects were quickly taken into custody.
Charges for the two yet-to-be identified men are pending.
