In the Cherokee County arrest files for the past 24 hours:
Deanne Armstrong Dowda, age 44 of Centre, was charged with Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance;
Angel Marie Lockridge, age 34 of Centre, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree;
Larry Phillip Bates, 51 of Gaylesville: Back for Court;
Thomas Christopher Whorton, 37 of Centre: Back for Court;
and
Nathan Ross Miller, age 29 of Piedmont: 60 Day Court Order.
Currently there are 74 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Jail.
