TWO PEOPLE INJURED IN FLOYD COUNTY ACCIDENT

Two people were transported to Floyd Medical Center following a wreck at Highway 411 east and Chulio Road on Monday night.
56 year old Cleo Mooring of Rome, was apparently turning North on U.S. 411 when she was struck by a car driven by 39 year old Catrina Branton, also of Rome.
Branton will be cited for running a red light.
The intersection was partially shut down for approximately a half-hour, while being cleaned up.
Both drivers are being treated in the Intensive Care Unit at Floyd Medical Center.
