HOME FIRE AT WEISS LAKE MUSIC PARK

A mobile home fire took place at the Weiss Lake Music Park on Monday afternoon at approximately 5:00, with departments from Centre, Ellisville, Spring Creek and Cedar Bluff responding.
Firefighters had a quick knock-down on the fire with the structure suffering only minimal damage, with the exception of heavy smoke damage throughout the home. Neighbors reported hearing an explosion before seeing smoke. The residents of the home were not present at the time of the fire.
The Centre Fire Department was on the scene until just after 8:00pm.
The State Fire Marshall was called in to help investigate the origin of the blaze.
